Hi, I’m Ella and this blog is all about how I earn my living in the internet marketing world. Having seen plenty of trash information about making money on the internet I am passionate about helping you become successful. Join me and I’ll let you in on the methods that I use to create my income.
I started on this road to self sufficiency sometime around 2001 when my first child was born. As my maternity leave started to run out I soon realised that I didn’t really want to go back to my job and have to deal with those tricky things such as childcare arrangements and travelling to work every day.
In between feeding, changing, shopping, feeding, changing, cooking, feeding, changing, bathing, (note - not too much cleaning!) I would spend many a long hour at my computer learning html, ftp, php, dhp, bs, lol… Well, I’m sure you get the picture.
It was a couple of years before I started to make any money. Another child was born. Eventually everything started to come together. All my hard work and learning was beginning to pay off. I had my first taste of success selling a specific niche brand of cosmetics on eBay and my own website. I managed to replace my previous salary with this little business which is still running today.
Since then I have set up many more websites which have all added to my monthly income. I don’t miss having a ‘proper’ job and I thoroughly recommend that you never give up if it is your goal to work for yourself.
When I’m not glued to my computer screen, I enjoy photography, going on long holidays, trips, sitting outside my garden shed (each to their own!) and eating my husband’s excellent cooking (fancies himself as a bit of a Gordon Ramsey!).
I truly believe that you should treat all people with the greatest respect and that is why I have the highest standards when it comes to selling or recommending products to my customers or subscribers. If you receive a recommendation from me then rest assured it is either something I use in my own business or it is something I would recommend to my own family or close friends.
